Freight Shipping Industry Suit Settled
firms and drivers in the United States of America will be happy to hear that the United States Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has settled a suit filed by three trucking associations over information published as part of the CSA program. The United States Federal Carrier Safety Administration announced on Wednesday that it will now make changes to the way it displays CSA safety scores during the miles ahead. This according to the agency is in response to the contentions of the three carrier groups in question that the original idea was flawed and should have gone through a public-comment procedure, before being implemented. This news also addresses the concerns of people about the way the information is displayed, according to the agency and some trucking companies
, and does so without compromising the CSA program and its safety benefits.
This key change to the current course of the United States Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration should be in place by March 25, according to the agency. Good news for the three trucking associations in question and any trucker that was concerned about the way data was being displayed in this case. Hopefully, once these changes are put in place they'll meet the expectations of the truckers involved and we won't hear any more about this affair in the weeks and months ahead on the transport roads and highways of the United States of America. We'll have to wait and see if the changes are made within the time scope suggested by the agency, if not, we could be hearing more from the three trucking associations in the middle of this trucking company
One thing is for sure, the FMCSA will probably pay better attention to making sure to get the opinion of Americans and the transport industry of the nation during the miles ahead, before deciding to implement an idea. In this case making this simple choice might have saved time and money that could have been better spent on other jobs and we are sure the agency has made note of this.
Flatbed Truck Lovers Will be on Hand
drivers planning on showing up for the Work Truck Show in Indianapolis this week will get a look at the latest transport vehicles available for transport firms to use to deliver cargo on time and budget during the miles ahead. Western star is planning on showing a series of heavy-duty trucks, called the 4700 Series, engineered and designed for vocational and municipal transport firms looking for a transport vehicle with a midrange powertrain and associated lower operating cost, according to the experts over at Western Star. Good news for heavy haul
firms looking for new transport vehicles with a lower operating cost than the heavier 4900 and 6900 Series trucks and tractors used for more extreme transport services.
There hasn't been any announcement about a possible price for the 4700 Series trucks Western Star is planning on showing during the Work Truck Show in Indianapolis this week. Expectations are that the 4700 Series trucks will cost a bit less than the 4900 Series, but at this point we probably shouldn't speculate on the future price of this series of Western Star work truck. We do know that the 4700 Series of Western Star trucks will come with the option for setback steer axles and a range of frames and drivetrains and will feature a clear area in back of the cab and an uncluttered frame.

planning on being on hand for the Work Truck Show this week in Indianapolis will have a chance to check out Western Star's 4700 Series trucks and all of the newest work trucks available to transport drivers and firms in the United States of America during the miles ahead.
