Heavy Haul Trucking Conditions Index
Transport firms and workers in the United States of America in the business of providing customers with a great freight quote
on the cargo they need transported to destination on time and budget will be interested in the latest news concerning FTR's Trucking Conditions Index. FTR has recently released the March trucking conditions index report update and once again, for the second straight month according to transport experts, the index has continued to increase at a rate that indicates a healthy trucking industry as we enter the second decade of the century of the environment in the United States of America. Great news for transport firms and drivers that like to use the index as a forecast of the road ahead and the general condition of the business of trucking
FTR is also forecasting that the continued economic growth of the country, combined with the impact of changes in the transportation rules and regulations, will help to keep the demand for trucking strong during 2011, and continue to create an upward trend in FTR's Trucking Conditions Index during the miles ahead on the transport roads and highways of the United States of America. This trend should allow shippers to keep freight rates pretty strong, according to FTR, and possibly push the rates even higher during the months ahead. FTR even expects to see significant increases in the movement of freight on the roads of the country as we head into March and lots of reasons to be optimistic about the future of the flatbed trucking
industry in general.
This news is good to hear considering the challenges lying ahead for the transport industry of the United States of America, but truckers are a tough breed use to getting the job done, not complaining about the road ahead, or the work. The challenges ahead will all get taken care of in their own time and we'll move onto other challenges as we always have.
