Difference in overweight and over axle

When moving freight and drive calls in over axle, do not mistake this for being overweight. For overweight, as long as it is a single non-reducable piece, you can get an overweight permit.

Over axle adjustments will have to be made to the load.

The max allowable weight for axles are as follows:
axle 1 – 12,000 lbs
axle 2-3 34,000 lbs
axle 4-5 34,000 lbs for a max gross weight of 80,000 lbs.
