At the same time, Detroit Diesel was being recognized for Outstanding Achievement during the DTE Energy and the Engineering Society of Detroit’s Energy Conference and Exhibit, for the Industrial Sustainability Energy Program of the Year award, which recognizes the Michigan-based industrial firm that has made the most contributions in the area of energy conservation.
