Late on a Friday afternoon, an urgent situation arose when a temperature-sensitive shipment of 33 skids of sheep lungs faced a critical threat. The container’s genset malfunctioned, putting the cargo at risk. With the delicate shipment requiring precise temperature control, the client needed immediate action to prevent spoilage.

Momentum Freight sprang into action. Within 45 minutes, the team swiftly transferred the cargo into a reefer van set to -20°C at a nearby transloading facility. Despite the late-hour request, Momentum ensured the temperature-sensitive cargo was delivered to the cold storage facility by 9 AM the next day, meeting the client’s tight deadline and protecting the shipment’s integrity.
